OUR HISTORY
From 1999 to 2015, more than 183 000 people died from overdoses related to prescription opioids and in 2012, more than 250 million opioid prescriptions were written in the USA, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than enough for the entire population of 319 million people.
The over-prescription of opioids for chronic, non-cancer pain outside palliative care is driving the epidemic of opioid dependency in the USA, according to Dr. Debra Houry, Director of the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control.
With increasing awareness of the current opioid epidemic, patients are in search of alternatives to pain management beyond increasing their regular opioid prescriptions.
Privium is seasoned in a holistic approach to pain management. With a long history of pain management experience, our Providers engage in a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Currently located in Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia DC, our model offers a location that makes it accessible to patients in various regions.

CARE TEAM
Care Team consists of various providers: Physiatrists; Pain Specialists, Psychiatrist, Physical Therapist, Addiction Specialist and Counsellors. The team of specialist including the patient, develop the personalized Care-Plan designed specifically for the patient.
CARE PLAN
Care-Plan are individualized for each patient and form the framework for the patient care-map;
CARE MAP
Care-Map articulates the various providers and levels of care necessary for each patient including the patient point of engagement. This care map is articulated within the Privium Network of Providers (PNP). The goal of the network is for efficient care coordination and patient satisfaction.
